I recently drove 9 hours south for an opportunity to take my car, a 2000 Dodge Viper GTS, back to the factory where it was made, and visit some amazing people who build the current-generation Viper. The Viper assembly facility in Detroit is a sort of workshop, where skilled craftspeople assemble America’s most potent performance car by hand. It was an amazing day of revisiting my car-guy roots.
