The Lamborghini Centenario is one of the most exclusive exotics in the world right now, largely because just 40 copies (20 coupe and 20 roadster) will be built. Want one? Too bad. They’re all sold.
But here’s a little Friday drool for the car buffs out there: Lamborghini has just released a video of their new Centenario model undergoing testing at the Nardo Technical Centre in Italy.
Lambo conceived their latest one-off model as a four-wheeled tribute to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the brand’s father, Ferruccio Lamborghini. Centenario has a cabin that looks like something out of a Star Trek movie, and though Warp Drive isn’t available, all units are propelled by a 770-horsepower V12 engine, which is pretty much the same thing. Look for 0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds. From standstill to 200 km/h takes under 9 , and 0-300 km/h is possible in 23.5, en route to a top speed beyond 350 kmh. Yehoo!
